Greater Burlington, Iowa – The Greater Burlington Partnership Chamber of Commerce held their Small Business Breakfast today celebrating small businesses. At the event, they announced the winners of the Resiliency Award and the Small Business of the Year.
De Luxe Aesthetics was awarded the Resiliency Award. Having to endure the TIGER Project, a fire, and lengthy construction before they could reopen, most businesses would have just cut their losses, packed up, and called it quits. Not De Luxe. They found alternative locations to provide services, acquired another business and kept moving toward reopening their amazing space in Downtown Burlington. This award celebrates their never-ending tenacity.
Titan Broadcasting & Digital Group was awarded the 2023 Small Business of the Year.
The 2023 Small Business of the Year has been broadcasting a mix of the hottest adult contemporary and country music to our cars and homes for years. All the while their marketing team has been tirelessly working to help local businesses grow.
Titan Broadcasting & Digital Group is the operator of two local radio stations, 101.7 The Bull KBKB-FM and 107.3 The New Mix KGRS and are a full-scale marketing agency that provides consulting services to area businesses without the ad agency price tag.
Just prior to the beginning of Covid-19, the company added a digital marketing arm to its business and rebranded as Titan Broadcasting & Digital Group. This move came at the request of many of their clients, wishing that Titan's skilled marketing consultants would be able to help them with more facets of their total marketing plan. Now, their account executives can assist local businesses in delivering a one-two punch of on-air and online marketing strategies.
Recently, Titan Broadcasting & Digital Group has seen tremendous growth. With the addition of the digital arm, their client base has increased significantly, leading to revenue growth of over 13%. Now Titan's footprint is unlimited. Currently, they are serving clients outside of its traditional radio coverage area in regions such as the Quad Cities, Iowa City, Des Moines and even in Wisconsin.
More recently, Titan Broadcasting & Digital Group has a new collaboration with the Burlington Beacon where the Beacon provides the daily newscasts on The Mix and The Bull. This collaboration affords our community access multiple times each day to high quality, relevant local news, and information.
Titan Broadcasting & Digital Group also believes in giving back to the community & supporting local efforts. They are a partner and in-kind sponsor to many local events including the Tri-State Rodeo, Old Threshers, Burlington Riverfront Entertainment events, SnowBull, Burlington Bees, Des Moines County Fair, A Very Vintage Market, Greater Burlington Leadership, the Shamrock Shuffle, National Night Out, and many more.
