Downtown Burlington is poised to bloom with character and creativity on Saturday, July 19, 2025, as A Very Vintage Market returns to Jefferson Street from 9 AM to 4 PM. This one‑day celebration of retro, reclaimed, and handcrafted treasures is the perfect summer outing for families, collectors, and trend‑savvy treasure hunters alike.
The market, which is in its tenth year, has certainly grown over time. “We started with about 30 vendors,” said Downtown Partners Executive Director and event coordinator Amy Moyner. “We’ve seen the crowds grow from around 2,000 people to now more than 12,000 people.” Visitors are “going to find boutique items, they’re going to find unique items that have been salvaged and repurposed.”
Meander under the canopies of historic storefronts on Jefferson Street and discover over 120 curated vendors offering a dazzling array of wares: antique furniture, farmhouse accents, repurposed décor, architectural salvage, one‑of‑a‑kind jewelry, and locally crafted finds. With no admission fee, guests are invited to shop, sip, and stroll through the heart of our charming downtown.
Hungry? Take your pick from a lineup of food vendors serving up everything from vintage‑inspired eats to locally sourced snacks. Live music adds rhythm to your shopping journey, keeping energy high from setup at dawn until the final bell at 4 PM.
Visitors will get a chance to paint dumpsters and help further an ongoing Downtown project. “We are working on fundraising to activate our alleyways,” elaborated Moyner, “which means we’re trying to find alleys [for] social gathering spaces, so putting out bistro tables, more art, and have little outlets where you can bring your family and enjoy lunch from one of the twenty eateries and drinkeries Downtown.”
Vendors begin setting up at 6 AM, with booth spaces thoughtfully spaced along Jefferson Street––pedestrian‑only for the day—ensuring a relaxed, safe environment for browsing.
Whether you’re in town for the day or making a weekend getaway of it, A Very Vintage Market is one of Burlington’s largest summer festivals—and one of its most stylish. Dust off your sunhat and your keen eye for charm, and come explore our city’s vintage soul in full swing.
