Drive-In Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony

Fill a thermos with your favorite hot beverage and head to Memorial Auditorium parking lot to see the riverfront light up for the holidays!

Burlington Riverfront Entertainment is proud to announce the second annual Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony on the riverfront. The 25-foot real tree will come to life with over 5,000 individual lights, along with giant snowflakes along the riverfront, at 6 PM. There will be a special mailbox near the tree for kids' letters to Santa - all letters deposited by Dec. 15 will get a personal response! The box will also be used to collect votes for the Holiday Lights Trail; all ballots deposited in the special mailbox by Dec. 21 will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Visa gift card.

Attendees must remain in their vehicles during the ceremony; plan to arrive early as spots will be limited - you won't want to miss Santa coming to town in his horse-drawn carriage!
