Discover Iowa history with the 2021 Friends of the Harlan House Brown Bag Lecture Series!
Learn the true stories behind the Orphan Trains in Iowa; discover the real Carolyn Keene; dive in to the history of Mount Pleasant and Iowa Wesleyan and more. These fascinating presentations from historians, authors and experts are free and open to the public, though registration is required.
All lectures will take place in the social hall at Howe Student Activity Center on the Iowa Wesleyan campus. Individuals attending the lectures in person will need to complete a brief health survey and temperature check, and masking and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
