On Saturday, May 28, meet Bill Taylor, Brenda Sayre, and George Wanamaker.

William L. Taylor
Owner and operater of River City Coins and Collectibles in Burlington, Iowa since 1987.Today,the majority of what they do is appraisals for trust departments, attorneys, and individuals traveling the three-state area: Iowa, Illinois and Missouri. At times buying small antiques and collectibles. Bill is a resource to help individuals and estates find buyers for specialty items, such as rare books, firearms, art and autographs. 


Brenda Sayre
In the late 1990’s, Brenda opened a booth at the Old Friends Antique Mall in Macomb. In 2003, Brenda started out with one and now has two booths at Old Stone Mill in Burlington. As her interest and business began to grow so did her reading of antique trade magazines; price guides, attending auctions and estate sales along with visiting antique shops all over the Midwest. It is through these activities, Brenda has gained significant knowledge about the antique world but she is quick to add,  “you can never learn enough.” 

George Wanamaker
George started collecting carpenter tools in 1968 when several of his grandfather’s tools were given to him. He began to search flea markets and estate sales looking for tools. In 1976 he joined the Mid-West Tool Collector’s Association and has served as Director, several different committee chairmanships, Vice President Elections, and then President of that 3700 member organization.Over the years he has collected Stanley Tool Company tools, especially planes and rules, other carpenter tools, farm tools including some horse drawn implements, ice cream collectibles, kitchen tools, and any other unique and unusual items found.

Bring your antiques, paper documents, clocks & pocket watches, aviation, cameras, toys, farm tools, ice cream collectables, & kitchen items $4 an item or 3 for $10.
