All Treats, No Tricks Featured at Free U.S. Cellular Device Workshop
October 3, 2017, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM (CST)
As Halloween approaches, kids dream of endless mountains of candy and fun costumes. On the other hand, parents think about how to keep their Trick or Treaters safe from harm as they roam neighborhood streets. U.S. Cellular will offer tips on how to use smartphones to boost Halloween safety and make it fangtasticly fun. In addition to important safety apps, there are frighteningly good apps that adults can download to become more creative and a better ghostbuster at the same time. U.S. Cellular will host a free Device Workshop in West Burlington to find creative ideas for costumes, get Halloween-themed cooking and decorating inspiration, elevate photos and help keep tabs on kids as they Trick or Treat. This event is open to the public. “Halloween is a family-favorite holiday. U.S. Cellular has ideas on how to use your smartphone, such as the iPhone 8 or Samsung Galaxy S8, to help make it safer for everyone,” said Mike Adams, U.S. Cellular’s director of sales for Iowa and Nebraska. “At Halloween – and throughout the year – U.S. Cellular’s reliable network makes it easier than ever to access and share information and engage in fun, enriching activities with family members.” For more information about this Device Workshop, please call 319-759-7800.
