
Taylor Collins is the Economic Development Director for the Greater Burlington Partnership, a role he took on in May of 2025. In this capacity, he leads the organization’s efforts to attract investment and foster growth across the Greater Burlington Area.
A member of the Iowa House of Representatives, Taylor combines hands-on public policy experience with a deep background in state government. He previously served as Senior Advisor to former Lt. Governor Adam Gregg and as a Policy Advisor to Governor Kim Reynolds. In the Governor’s Office, he acted as liaison to four executive-branch agencies, helped shape and advance the Governor’s Empower Rural Iowa Initiative, and played a key role in Iowa’s COVID-19 response and the state’s successful reopening of its economy.
Beyond his full-time work, Taylor remains actively involved in the region’s growth. He serves as President of the Flint Ridge Business Park Association, Chairman of the Highway 61 Coalition, a board member of the Southeastern Community College Foundation, and a member of the Professional Developers of Iowa.
Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Iowa State University, as well as both a Master of Public Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Drake University.
