Civic Music - Fly Dance Company: The Gentlemen of Hip Hop

Begun as an experiment combining hip hop with classical music by Antonio Vivaldi, the founding artistic director of Fly, Kathy Musick Wood created a piece called "Out of Context". Based in Houston, the all-male company labeled as an artistic phenomenon crosses street dance with classical choreographic principles...their technique is hip hop - creative, gymnastic and highly masculine that is clean-cut, wholesome and crosses all ages.
