Burlington Road Races - Snake Alley Criterium

The weekend of racing excitement gets under way with the 95 mile Burlington Road Race, starting at the Port of Burlington and ending on Main Street. Catch the excitement of the 35th annual Snake Alley Criterium on Memorial Day weekend! The fun begins on Friday afternoon, May 26 with the Burlington Road Races. The Criterium races begin at 8:30 Saturday morning in downtown Burlington, with the final Category 1/2/Pro race at 3:40 PM. Hundreds of athletes from around the country will compete for thousands of dollars in prizes. The popular kids' races and Cobblestone Climb take place at noon. Visit our downtown shops and food vendors, too. The Snake Alley Criterium is called "one of the most physically challenging races in the Midwest" by the Iowa Bicycle Racing Association.
