Think of professional in the broad sense. GBYP welcomes everyone regardless of occupation. We are an inclusive group of individuals from a variety of backgrounds, professions, and lifestyles.

Do I have to live in Burlington to join?

Does my company need to be a member of the Chamber of Commerce for me to join Young Professionals?

No. While Young Professionals is a committee of the Burlington/West Burlington Chamber of Commerce, your employer does not need to be a member.

Why is there a membership fee?

The $75 membership fee is to cover the costs of lunches and food at 5:05 Socials. If you attend only a few events throughout the course of the year it more than pays for itself. It really is the most cost effective professional development you can imagine.
