The quarterly seminar will feature industry professionals, local business owners, and local marketing specialists geared to keep businesses up to date on what they need to know and what works.

The Greater Burlington Partnership is proud to bring Sue Pitts as the lead speaker for the inaugural session of the Marketing Know-How Series. Sue brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding with over 8 years' experience as a co-owner/manager of a small business and 25 years' experience in small business marketing, digital marketing, market research, and managing budgets. Through the SBDC, Sue has been providing professional, one-on-one business counseling to entrepreneurs, small businesses and people dreaming about starting businesses since March 2004. Although she works with businesses on all topics and issues, her expertise and passion is helping businesses with their internet marketing strategies, including website development, search engine optimization, local search, and social networking. Sue’s Center was recognized in February 2011 by Inc.com as one of America's most helpful SBDCs. She is a certified NDC Economic Development Finance Professional, a certified instructor for NX Level, Profit Master and Fast Trac Programs and is certified in Digital Marketing through the AMA.

Ethan Pitt - Regional Director for the South Central Iowa SBDC.
The Greater Burlington Partnership is proud to bring Ethan Pitt as the second speaker for the Marketing Know-How Series. Ethan Pitt is the Regional Director for the South Central Iowa SBDC. He has a BA in Economics and Business and is currently pursuing an MA in Economics. His background is in economic development, traditional, social, and digital marketing, finance and business plan writing. Prior to the SBDC, Ethan was the Marketing Director for Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri.
Session 3: Digital Media Panel
Join us for the Marketing Know-How Series - Session 3: Digital Media. This session will be a panel discussion on different digital media platforms. Hear from local experts on everything from what platforms perform well to what platforms to avoid to where to get the best bang for your buck. A Q&A session will be held following the panel discussion.
