The Greater Burlington Partnership committees are formed by volunteers who work to promote participation in Partnership events and activities. Their support and commitment contribute to the success of the Partnership.

Ambassadors extend a welcome during special events. Annually coordinates Business After Hours and Ribbon Cuttings as well as host the New Member Luncheon. Ambassadors meet the second Thursday of each month at 8 AM.
Greater Burlington Leadership Planning Committee
Greater Burlington Leadership Planning Committee develops and executes the annual leadership program. This includes designing the curriculum, securing the speakers, and reviewing the applications for the program. Planning Committee meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 4 PM.
Government Relations Committee
Government Relations Committee develops the annual legislative priorities and plans advocacy trips to Des Moines and Washington, D.C. The Committee hosts Friday Forums (formerly known as 'Eggs & Issues'). Friday Forums sessions will inform you about hot topics regarding the community and business-focused issues. Government Relations Committee meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 8:00 AM.
Housing Committee
The Housing Committee works to identify strategies, tools and incentives that the communities within Des Moines County can pursue that will result in growing the tax base by improving the housing quality and inventory.
Annual Dinner and Fundraiser Committee
The Annual Dinner and Fundraiser committee plans the annual meeting for the investors of the Greater Burlington Partnership. This event features dinner, awards and a fundraising element. Meets as needed, typically August through February.
Golf Classic Planning Committee
Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic Committee members coordinate a fun day on the course where members are encouraged to bring clients and vendors while raising funds for the Chamber of Commerce. Meets April - August, as needed.
