Greater Burlington Restaurant Week is a 10-day promotion event held every September offering hot deals and delicious meals at some of Greater Burlington’s best restaurants. Restaurant Week aims to boost business and raise awareness of local restaurants throughout the year while providing fun for the whole family.
Each September over 20 Southeast Iowa restaurants register to offer great specials, usually a $9 lunch and $18 dinner, from selected menu items for 10 days during the month. Some restaurants create special unique dishes specially for this event. Diners vote for their favorites among various categories, and those awards are presented two weeks after the event.
The Chamber of Commerce members that participate receive free customized menus. Member winners receive a plaque and special recognition in the annual Burlington/West Burlington Community Guide.
