Room Rental FAQs

Room Availability for use by members of the Chamber of Commerce:  

Winegard Board Room, Johnson Conference Room, or the Alliant Energy Executive Conference Room.

 

Available Hours: Regular office hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday thru Thursday, and 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM Friday depending on availability. 

After office hours rooms may be available outside normal business hours with the approval of the President and CEO provided a staff member of the Greater Burlington Partnership is available. The staff member will unlock and lock the facility and must remain in the office for the duration of the meeting. The fee for the staff person’s time is $25 per hour which will be payable to the Chamber of Commerce.

 

Tables and chairs:  These are provided by the Greater Burlington Partnership and will be set up by staff.

 

Equipment and Supplies:  All items needed for meetings should be brought in by the business, organization, or individual hosting the meeting (i.e. plates, cups, flip charts, office supplies, extension cords, projectors, DVD player or VCR). A wall-mounted screen is available. Copies of handouts should be made ahead of time by your organization. On an emergency basis, copies can be provided at $0.10 per copy. On an emergency basis, items will be available for a charge, fees are outlined below.

 

Projector Use: Our office utilizes a wireless projector system in each conference room. While sometimes the set up for use of a projector goes seamlessly, other times it may be necessary to spend time setting up the projector. Please communicate this with your coordinator and staff at the Greater Burlington Partnership so we may be able to assist you or arrange to meet before your meeting to make sure the projector is set up properly for your meeting.

 

Beverages:  Bottled water and soda are available for a charge of $2/person for up to 3 hours or $5/person for more than 3 hours. Coffee is available for $5 per pot. If food is catered in, it is required to use a Chamber of Commerce member and remind them to bring in the proper place settings and utensils.

No tape or adhesives will be allowed on walls or ceilings.

Damages to the facility or furnishings will be assessed to the business, organization or individual hosting the event as stated on the Conference Room Rental.

 

Please Note: Utilization of the rooms by members or community organization is intended for general business or community enhancement purposes such as meetings, interviews, etc. These facilities are not available for private events such as receptions, reunions, parties, etc., and cannot be used as an income-generating source such as to sell items or be used as a class for paying customers, etc. If our accommodations do not meet your needs, you can request a list of meeting rooms in the Greater Burlington area.
