Working and volunteering in the community I grew up in, isn’t just a job. It’s an honor, a responsibility and a constant reminder of where I came from. I’m fortunate to work for an employer who has been a strong supporter helping grow and sustain this community since 1916. At F&M Bank & Trust, I stay busy enhancing client and business relationships, supporting community events, business services, marketing and other duties. As Chair of the Ambassadors, I get a front-row seat to the heartbeat of our community. I get to meet amazing people, celebrate successes, hear stories and support their journey. Being a part of that momentum, watching our town grow and knowing I played a small part, is incredibly rewarding. I have also learned so much from my fellow Ambassadors who are a dedicated group of passionate, like-minded individuals who truly care about making a difference. In addition, I stay active as a Council Member on Iowa State University Extension & Outreach - Des Moines County, Southeast Iowa Builders Association (SEIBA) Marketing & Promotions Committee and Chamber of Commerce Golf Committee. My husband Kevin and I live in the outskirts of town raising our two children, Katelyn and Hudson. They keep us busy between school, football, basketball, volleyball, golf, dance team, trap shooting and 4-H.
