Serving It Safe with Ann LLC
Since moving to Burlington with my family in 1999, I have loved this community from the very first day. I own Serving it Safe with Ann, LLC, where I teach ServSafe® food safety certification and consult with food service operations throughout the region. One of my
greatest joys is meeting local foodservice operators and employees — hearing their stories, supporting their work, and helping strengthen food safety in our community. I also serve as a SAM (Synod Authorized Minister) for Unity Lutheran Church, blending my love of
teaching, service, and faith. Over the years, I’ve remained an active volunteer in Burlington, serving in a variety of roles that have allowed me to support families, local organizations, and the wider community. I am currently a proud Chamber Ambassador, a role I truly enjoy. It gives me the chance to network with people, welcome new businesses, and meet owners through ribbon cuttings and Business After Hours events. I love highlighting and promoting our beautiful town — a place full of wonderful people and special places. I still remember calling my mom shortly after moving here to tell her how friendly everyone was; even the stranger waiting with me at the oil change shop brought me a cup of coffee. That simple act of kindness captured exactly why Burlington feels like home and why I love serving this community.
