Hospitality Programs Welcomes Newcomers & Interns

The Greater Burlington Partnership wants to extend a warm welcome to those transitioning into our community.  Our Hospitality Committee works to provide newcomers a positive and welcoming experience as they become a part of the Greater Burlington area.  Whether you are coming for the summer as an intern or are becoming our newest resident, we want to extend a welcome to you.   

Our Summer Interns Hospitality Program is open to all interns working in Des Moines County.  This program provides the opportunity for them to meet and interact with other interns working in the Greater Burlington area.  Students will discover what Greater Burlington has to offer through lunch and learns, social events and tours of area businesses.

Our professional Newcomers Hospitality Program is open to all professionals new to the area.  Discover what Greater Burlington has to offer while interacting with other newcomers and local members of the community at lunches and evening socials.  Also enjoy a complimentary YP, Young Professionals event on us.

Individuals may sign themselves up or employers are welcome to sign up their newest intern or employee.  The programs are free to Chamber of Commerce members and their employees.
