Festivals

Downtown Burlington is the heart of the community and home to its favorite events and celebrations. Young and old alike come out in mid-June to enjoy Steamboat Days, the region's biggest music festival and carnival, held along the riverfront. The Snake Alley Art Fair, also in June, brings in artists from throughout the Midwest.

The Port of Burlington is the location for events like the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, Friday Fests during the summer months, the Rotary Chicken Dinner, and Oktoberfest. Memorial Auditorium hosts summertime Cruise Nights and Safe Halloween, and on New Year's you can check out Rockin' Safe Eve and enjoy the fireworks.

Thousands of people come down to historic Jefferson Street to watch the Steamboat Days parade and take part in Heritage Fest at the end of September. In November and December, the Lighted Holiday Parade and Living Windows are Christmastime traditions you're sure to treasure.
