County Seat Project

County Seat Bench Project Beginning in 2009, the Downtown Partners Design committee began a program of decorating wooden benches throughout the downtown. Local artists paint the benches, provided by the City of Burlington. The results are both playful and thought provoking, adding a splash of color to our downtown. Twenty-five benches have been completed so far. We invite you to enjoy these unique additions to our streetscape!
