Parking

There are 1624 striped, free public parking spaces in downtown Burlington, both on and off street. There are no meters for curbside parking, and most of the on street stalls have a limit of 2 hours or longer. You might be surprised to find that the walk from your parking spot to your downtown destination is probably shorter than at a big box store or mall!

Downtown Partners is continually working to fine tune parking regulations, planning for better signage for public lots, and encouraging downtown employees to leave the prime spaces open for customers. As more businesses and residents move downtown, we are looking at ways to increase available spaces.
