Infastructure

Greater Burlington is well-positioned for the needs of business and industry.  As a Mississippi River community, barge access is available and transloading capabilities exist from barge-to-truck and barge-to-rail.  

The community has direct access to a BNSF main line, and several spurs allow for multiple access points.  Two, four-lane highways intersect in Burlington.  Commercial air service is provided by the Southeast Iowa Regional Airport, just minutes from downtown.
