Partnering for the Future

Campaign Reaches Goal

The Partnering for the Future Campaign of the Greater Burlington Partnership has reached goal by recording $1,501,500 in pledged investments. To date seventy-seven companies, organizations and individuals have pledged to the campaign.

"Making goal in this economic environment is a huge testimony to the region and to the campaign volunteers," stated Kent Gaudian, Campaign Chair. "The investors have understood the importance to our community and that more must be done and new approaches must be implemented in order to create a positive future."

Dennis Hinkle, President of the Greater Burlington Partnership credited Kent Gaudian for his leadership throughout the campaign. "Kent put in a tremendous number of hours on the Partnering for the Future campaign. He led by example and the results are evident."

The goal has been reached but the campaign continues. "We still have entities that have indicated that they want to invest in Partnering for the Future and are considering what pledge level is appropriate for them," stated Gaudian. "We will continue to pursue additional pledges for the next few weeks." The campaign had set a goal of $1,500,000 and a stretch goal of $1,800,000.
